Housed in the neo-classical Villa Frigerij built in 1830, the museum contains protohistoric finds and collections of Italic sculptures from the 6th and 5th century BC; among them, the remarkable Guerriero di Capestrano (Warrior from Capestrano), dating from the 6th century BC. The numismatical collection is displayed in 12 window cases and includes 15,000 coins. The Pansa collection gathers bronze statuettes, daily life objects, finery, glass works and ivory works. The stone slab section collects both funerary and honorary ephigraphs.
