The museum displays archaeological finds coming from the Tolfa Mounts district, which may
be dated from prehistory to Roman times, alongside medieval and Renaissance material and
the mock-ups of two respectively Etruscan and medieval potter's wheels. The natural history
section includes stuffed animals and educational panels on the local flora and fauna.
Remarkable exhibits: the dioramas and the historical documentation on the alum mines.
