This museum, opened in 1995, explores iron-working, a trade that has a three-century-old
tradition in Follonica. On display tools and equipment used in iron casting, alongside
photographs, artifacts and wooden models. Remarkable exhibit: a beautiful gate designed in
1834 by architect Carlo Reishammer. A workshop for training in casting techniques (with
clay or wax models) is being set up.
