Housed in the high rooms of the 18th-century Palazzo Galeotti, the museum is arranged
preserving the original decoration of an aristocratic palace of the time. It consists of a number
of paintings, sculptures, engravings, objects of art, documents and other historical material
relating to the local area. On the first floor there are displayed the oldest paintings, among
which the Coronation of Mary and the Annunciation by Neri di Bicci and Madonna and
Child with St. John by Antonio del Ceragliolo. A room is devoted to the portrait-painter of
the Risorgimento Luigi Norfini. On the second floor there are a graphic art collection of about
2,400 drawings and prints by various authors (Durer, Hieronymus, Spagnoletto, etc.) and a
collection of contemporary graphics (about 900 works) by Italian and non-Italian artists.
