Description: Set in the so-called "La Ferdinando" villa, the finest example of architecture among the Medici summer residences, built in the 16C to the plans of Buontalenti. Magnificent staircase, rooms containing frescoes and works of art. The museum displays stelae, slabs, objects made of bronze and other archaeological findings in the area. Of particular interest, the nearby Etruscan tombs, "Boschetti" and "Montefortini" (open: 9-13. Closed on Mondays), both located in Comeana.
